SOTD: Farnesiana

I would like to say that I was going with something darkly dramatic or leathery today, but the truth is I wanted the sweet comfort of Caron's Farnesiana. To me it is bread dough laced with violets, almonds, heliotrope, and mimosa; it is the pink flesh of the palm of a kind hand.

How are you dearest Jen? I made a mistake with my scent of the day today cause I was in such a rush to leave the house in the morning. The result is that I have been experiencing a sort of sensory dissonance all day long. It sound ridiculous but it is very discomforting. I wonder if this would sound crazy to most of the population (ie. the non perfume-crazed members of the society :P )

Kiss you,
D.

Farnesiana sounds delightful- I love anything laced with almonds. This painting is great too- the lady in the pink dress looks like she has not a care in the world... if only...

Divina, I totally understand what you mean, there is nothing quite like putting on the wrong scent or scents that always make you feel strange (Agent Provocateur, can't wear it because it leaves me feeling agititated.)

Daily- If only indeed, I wish I had the same feeling...you shouldn't definately make a point of trying to sniff it out.
