The cooking continues...

So March shall officially be known as the month of risotto, since my last posting on risotto I have made risotto twice, did a repeat of Nigella Lawson's Lemon Risotto, and then just this last week I made Nigella's Chedder Risotto which can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sandyandallen/2322935316/ which was quite yummy liberally dosed with valentina hot sauce, yet while eating it I couldn't help but think about baconing it up. Next time I'm making some crispy bits of bacon to go on top of it. In the continuation of my rice love I also tried out a recipe for saffron rice pudding; the flavor was good, but I didn't like the texture, the quest continues... Also, if you are like me and rather enjoy making fresh homemade bread, I offer you this awesome whole wheat recipe from http://www.aminglingoftastes.com/2007/03/fabulously-simple-whole-wheat-breadno.html This dark bread has gorgeous sweetness and flavor from molasses that is perfect for butter or cream cheese, love the scent of it toasting, and did I mention it is super easy?
And I finally tested out a chocolate pudding recipe i have been wanting to try for ages http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/coconut-chocolate-pudding-recipe.html Incredibly rich and exotic, highly recommended to those you love 340 Phinney's Coconut Curry bar and Vosges Naga bar.
