This is so adorable! The first thing that comes to my mind is that I want to have a gobbelin pattern of this pic and cross-stitch it. Yeah..My hobbies are tragic...

I adore seahorses for some reason. A friend once gave me a petrified one and I treasure it.

In no way is cross-stitching tragic, now if you collected balls of lint on the other hand, well it would be tragic and alarming. Seahorses are lovely delicate creatures; I can see why you adore them. Right now I am kind've having an obsession with peacocks.

Peacocks are amazing! I am such an urban girl, but I sometimes daydream of living on a big property where I could keep peacocks. It comes from my childhood I think..There is a monastery that keeps then right near to my paternal home and I would go and feed them all the time as a kid. What a lovely bird. They do have a tendency to scream at all hours though! Have you ever seen an albino peacock, Jen? They are stunning.

I know I'll never be able to live the city, but my farmhouse dream does make me happy when I need a little comfort. There is a pomegranate and fig tree there as well, more treasures of the gardens I played in as a child.

Funny, you should mention white peacocks, my Dad's friend (who lived in the mountains), has white peacocks, they are lovely. Also her's didn't scream all the time, but then again this is the Oregon mountains and screaming would have attracted bears and lions. I wonder if the lions and bears deterred the screaming? Funny you should mention figs and pomegranates; I lived on my grandparents ranch till my early teenage years and they had these trees, absolutely lovely.
