SOTD: Bvlgari pour femme

Today I am visiting my grandmother. For this I am choosing the ever lovely Bvlgari pour femme, this is a scent that always reminds me of yellow mimosas and sunlight, utterly feminine and completely in good taste. Which is one of the great attributes of Leo and Diane Dillon's illustrations, there women are strong and resourceful, and never in bad taste. Which reminds me of my grandmother.

SOTD: Bvlgari pour femme

So begins the day of the second paper. This one is a bit easier considering the professor who assigned it has already set up a format as to how he wants it written. Today is supposed to be the first sweltering day in the Bay Area, so approaching this with the cool feminity of Bvlgari pour femme.

SOTD: Bvlgari pour femme

Super pretty day, so going with super pretty fragrance. Really I find it so strange how much I like Bvlgari pour femme, it is so not what I consider my type of scent, yet well I like a great deal.

SOTD: Bvlgari pour femme and Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone! Should you wonder where the heck the rabbit comes from, well it is a symbol of fertility for the goddess Eostra, another symbol of her's is the egg. And as you can see she also had a direct part in the naming of the holiday, Eostra=Easter. Going with the sunny happy Bvlgari pour femme as I visit family.

SOTD: Bvlgari pour Femme

A couple weeks ago there was the question of joyous/happy scents going around the perfume community, I could not come up with one (what can I say I'm some one who usual goes with comfort and sensual scents), but today I realized that I do have one: Bvlgari pour Femme. There is something joyously yellow about this scent, it reminds me of blooming yellow mimosa and acacia (although it does not smell like either of these). There is a nectourous quality it smells of jasmine tea, honey, and bizarrely for the first time this morning I realized that I smelled a hint of juicy sweet bartlett pear in it. What is unique is that with a heart of powedery rose and violet, it retains crystilline nectar quality at the same time.

SOTD: Infusion d'Iris

It is spring outside and I am stuck inside, so to keep the good spring with me I am opting for the ever lovely Infusion d'Iris (although, I admit I had a hard time choosing, I also had thinking about wearing Chanel 22 or Bvlgari pour femme). Such lovely weather and hear that a storm is coming this week.
